Tony Forte
Tony Forte is a songwriter/bassist/guitarist originally from
Virginia Beach, VA and a graduate of Wake Forest University.
He’s played live music for over 13 years in Virginia, North
Carolina, Spain, and the Memphis area. As a musician strongly
influenced by classic rock riffs, reggae roots, and jazz
improvisation, Forte specializes in blending genres in familiar
ways. Having founded the 7-piece funk band “Objekt 12” and
the acoustic duo “The Tailored Makers” since moving to
Memphis in 2014, Forte has consistently distinguished himself
in the city’s music scene.
